It has been decided!! 2012 is COME HOME YEAR for the Town of Lewisporte!!

Our Celebrations will be taking place from August 3-9 & 13, 2012

We have a wide range of activites planned for every age group! We are asking that you let your friends and relatives know so that they can make plans to attend the celebrations.

Congratulations to Sarah Pearce for designing our logo and slogan!

The Come Home Year Committee is pleased to announce that Sarah Pearce has provided the winning entry for our logo and slogan contest. Her slogan "Homeward Bound" summed up the spirit of both our town and the Come Home Year Celebrations. The logo is currently being reproduced by a professional designer and will be unveiled in the near future.

MOLSON COMMUNITY CHEER PROJECT

The O2 Running Club in conjunction with the Kinsmen Club of Notre Dame / Lion's Club have submitted a funding proposal to Molson Coors to build a walking/running track around the soccer pitch in Lewisporte.

In order to be considered we first have to receive a minimum of 225 'Cheers' from individuals.

Please visit the link below and register to 'Cheer' for the project. This will be a significant asset to our community and the area.
